This hidden Full HD Wi-Fi camera in a smoke detector Secutron UltraLife UL-15W is the successor of the very popular Secutron UltraLife camera in a smoke detector but improved with WiFi connectivity, which allows online monitoring of the camera recording.

Its classic smoke detector appearance allows use in warehouses, shops, office spaces, or corridors. In operation, the camera lasts up to an incredible 180 days without the need for recharging. Recordings are stored on a memory card with a capacity of up to 32GB.

The hidden camera in the Secutron UltraLife UL-15W smoke detector has a 2Mpix CMOS sensor that allows recording in Full HD resolution 1920x1080px. The angle of the camera is 70° and the video is recorded including the audio track. Furthermore, this hidden camera is equipped with a slot for micro SD memory cards with support of up to 32GB (i.e. up to 88 hours of recording). The camera records in a loop, which means that if the SD card is full, the oldest files are automatically deleted. The camera in the smoke sensor has an integrated Wi-Fi module, which allows you to connect to the camera remotely via the Internet at any time and thus monitor everything you need. Both control and configuration take place through the "Yi Eye" mobile application, which is free to download for phones with the Android and iOS operating systems. If you own more than one of these cameras, it's possible to manage them all in one app. In addition to the online preview, you can manage notifications, record videos, and photos, or remotely view videos stored by the camera on the SD card in the application.

The Secutron UL-15W hidden camera is equipped with a PIR motion sensor, which reduces the consumption in idle mode to only 1-2 mA, thus achieving a battery life of more than  180 days without recharging.  However, even in standby mode, you can "scan" the camera at any time via the mobile application and activate image transmission.

When the camera detects movement, it sends a push notification to your phone through the mobile application. Motion detection using the PIR sensor is completely reliable and works up to a distance of approximately 7 - 10 meters.
