TAPE VS DIGITAL RECORDER

Tape recorders are now a thing of the past, and digital recorders have completely replaced them. A digital dictaphone offers a number of advantages over a tape recorder. Thanks to recording on flash memory, digital voice recorders are significantly smaller and thus become more flexible. Thanks to flash memory, it is possible to store incomparably more recordings on the digital recorder.

Of course, the most important elements include the sensitivity of the recorder and the overall quality of the recording. That's why in our store you can find recordings from various distances with voice recorders that you can listen to and evaluate. You are not buying a rabbit in a bag with us. 

EASY AND QUICK ACTIVATION 

If, for example, you need a recorder for lectures, then one-press activation is not so important. However, if you are going to buy a  discreet voice recorder, for hidden recording, which you need to start quickly, for example in your pocket, then make sure that the voice recorder starts with just one press. A manual ON/OFF switch is also better than a digital one. You can easily feel the manual switch in your pocket and you are sure that the recording will start. All our discrete voice recorders are equipped with one-press manual switching. So just by touching the recorder, you can tell whether it is recording or not. For example, the popular MQ-U300 dictaphone has a very well-designed switching system.

ADJUSTABLE VOICE ACTIVATION SENSITIVITY

If the digital dictaphone will be used for long-term recording in selected spaces, then you will definitely need the dictaphone to be equipped with a  voice activation function. And this is partly because you probably wouldn't enjoy viewing hours of recordings where there is only silence, and recording silence drains the battery unnecessarily. If the recorder is equipped with adjustable sensitivity for voice switching, then you can set it exactly according to a specific location. For example, if you place the recorder in an office next to a busy street, the recorder will constantly switch on due to the surrounding noise. In that case, it is enough to reduce the sensitivity, and the recorder will record only when, for example, there is a conversation in the vicinity.
